Vass Malanos, Chief Financial Officer at Fire & Safety Australia Pty Ltd, based in Brisbane, Queensland. FinanceSignal.ai is my personal space for finance, multi-system data, practical AI, and learning with peers.
Who
Finance leader, commercial operator, systems thinker.
CPA Australia member and currently CFO at Fire & Safety Australia — a national organisation of over 300 professionals delivering emergency safety training and medical/response services across Australia.
Before that I spent fifteen years at Revelian across CFO, Head of Revenue, and CCO responsibilities, including contribution to a US private-equity sale in 2020; then VP Sales APAC at Criteria Corp; a short Group CFO seat at EdTech Group; and earlier CFO roles growing multi-branch wholesale businesses and prepping organizations for acquisitions and exits.
There is no long LinkedIn “About” essay to quote. The experience timeline is the honest biography. FinanceSignal.ai is where I look forward: how finance collects information across systems, how AI helps us find inefficiencies and options, and how the role extends into technology.
Why FinanceSignal.ai

I chose the name because finance work is full of data and opinions. What we need is a clearer signal for decisions: what matters, what is noise, and what options are real. The Australian market is the home base; the patterns apply in many business types.
