Equations
- Paid learners = Capacity × Fill% × (1 − Cancel%)
- Revenue = Paid × Price · Costs = Trainer + Venue + Materials × Paid
- Contribution = Revenue − Costs · Margin = Contribution ÷ Revenue
- Break-even fill % from fixed costs vs contribution per filled seat
How this is calculated
- Paid learners = Capacity × Fill% × (1 − Cancel%)
- Revenue = Paid × Price
- Costs = Trainer + Travel/Venue + (Materials × Paid)
- Contribution = Revenue − Costs
- Margin = Contribution ÷ Revenue
- Break-even fill % from fixed costs (trainer + venue) vs contribution per filled seat after cancel and materials
- Cost / learner = Costs ÷ Paid (when Paid > 0)
